Abstract:
Women are considered most oppressed section of the society, the term Women's Empowerment has come to be associated with women’s struggle, social justice and equality. Several programs have been launched with explicit objective of empowering women and many measures have been taken for betterment of women. The present research article intends to discuss the role of women in Nation Building and economic growth.
