A study of different dimensions of Academic resilience in the secondary students of Aurangabad city

Abstract:
Academic resilience, is a key facet of education. It is the students’ ability to overcome academic setbacks, stress and study pressure associated with school as manifested by internal and external protective factors. The present study intends to study the various dimensions/aspects of Academic resilience such as Academic Confidence, Sense of Well-Being, Motivation and ability to achieve goals, Relationship with peers and Adults, Emotional Regulation and Physical Strength. Descriptive survey method was opted for the research study and a sample of 100 students from English medium schools were selected for the study. The data was analysed using mean and the findings showed that the English medium students possess high level of academic resilience with respect to various dimensions.
