Abstract:
Man is a social animal. The need to seek and maintain interpersonal relationships is a basic need of all human beings. Therefore, we sought the cooperation of many people in our daily lives. Cooperation is an act of working together for a common purpose or goal that benefits everyone involved. A classroom is a miniature of society, where different individuals work together for the attainment of certain goals. Learning together makes the task interesting and meaningful. It helps all students of different abilities to work together towards a common goal. Such small groups of learners working together as a team to solve a problem, complete a task, or accomplish a common goal is defined as Co-operative learning. All members of the group are considered equal irrespective of their gender, ethnicity, religion, culture, etc.
