Abstract:
Family is the fundamental and important structure of the society that has an important role in one's life and in the society. The importance of the family as a social structure is something unmistakable. Although affected by society and peers, children are more influenced by the family. Researchers who study parent- adolescent relationships are increasingly looking at “The importance of the impact of parenting on adolescent development, and how experiences in the family and other contexts interact with genetic factors to influence behavioral and developmental outcomes” (Collins, Maccoby, Steinberg, Hetherington, & Bornstein, 2000, p 100-106). The present study was undertaken to explore the effect of parenting style of professional women on students’ mental health of Aurangabad City. Compelling evidence across an array of measurement support the significant the present study was undertaken to explore the effect of parenting style of professional women on students’ mental health of Aurangabad City. Association between parenting style and mental health of adolescents regardless of culture, geographic, gender, and social class difference.
